Lots of cranes.

Too many art projects, not enough time...

These folks have been sitting in my sketchbook for a while.  I'm still working on my trip to San Francisco and hope to have that finished this weekend.

University Street Fair

Super-quick sketches from the fair.  Weather was chilly but dry while we were there.

And then it was off to the latest Pirates movie, followed by cake and Scrabble for Mel's birthday.

Irish Blessing

We had a company event last week, and our President read us this blessing, which I think is wonderful:

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.
I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.
I wish you will always feel that what you have is enough.
And may the Spirit of Love find a dwelling place in your hearts.

Slaving over a hot frame

Framing a dozen paintings.  Yes, the rubber chicken is a vital part of this exercise.

Sunrise from a few days ago.

I love it when I see the Cities of Gold across the water...

SFO Easter Parade

Scanning all of my sketches from my trip a few weeks ago.  Here's part of the Easter Parade.

Something old, something new

The top one is from today.  Looking at it now I realize that his head is bigger than the rest of him - but that's why you need to step back from your work (which is rather hard to do on a bus).

The bottom one I'm not sure of the date - I found it on top of my scanner!
