No sign of the Easter Bunny

I think he was at the Bunny Hop Breakfast while I was riding my bike, but I did catch some guys walking on a low wire (that's a high wire that's only two feet off the ground) - really good practice understanding body mechanics!  I also caught the usual suspects at the coffee shop and the lake looking quite nice.

Winning quotes:
"Does the iPhone count as a GPS?"
"By that time you should be low on supplies."
"The Bay is a big toilet bowl that flushes twice a day."
"For what you do you don't need that good breaking."
"You old bag, you're going to be 70 soon."
"That's why she ran for President: She's unemployable."

An Observer

Birthday present for my brother.  8x10 oil on panel.  Based on sketches and photos from when I was in Nara, Japan.  The title is the music that I was listening to - it seemed an appropriate title!

Pi day

Another year, another slice of pi.  I went to the Exploratorium to join in the irrational celebration. The morning had been cold and windy but it cleared up in time for the parade and I took my place in line with my digit in hand and paraded around the grounds, then I had a slice of banana cream pie and explored the Exploratorium.

Oh, and quick note, don't drink from the toilets!

Four feet and counting

Took this shot a few hours ago - it's the little stream near my house.  It's normally dry but it's a bit rainy right now.  There's a bulldozer parked on the road next to this to clear out debris where the stream goes underground.  Hopefully the guy works Sundays or my neighbors will be mopping their floors - it's supposed to rain for the next few days.  We need it!
