Yes, there is more to spring than painful eye irritants. It's also quite pretty.

Zombies, ponies, and pollen
Hmm, let's see. It's been a while. A friend of mine moved to L.A. and we had all sorts of farewell parties, including taking her out for French food followed by locking her in a room with a zombie. It's hard to explain. Meanwhile I've of course been sketching in coffee shops:
Overheard quotes:
"Grandma couldn't recognize you because you've had multiple colors of hair."
"I had a dream my down coat was hanging in my closet."
"Did you see the pig she was dating?"
"You were talking through the service."
"They say in Rome, everybody's from Italy."
"What if a meteorite strikes?"
"Did you bring that ugly red thing?"
Then this afternoon it was hike through the local park. Everything is nice and green and tons of pollen raining down. I also got a view of some of the local deer munching away on the grass. They took off when a pair of helicopters flew overhead.
It's raining pollen
I'm sitting on top if the hill looking out over the land, and I can't help but notice the dusting of pollen on my phone in a matter of moments. After a dry year the little rain we've had had sprouted the grasses to be a foot tall and now the trees are all blooming and the yellow-ish tinge to everything is pollen.
