Cephalopods!

That's right!  The new cephalopod exhibit is open in Monterey!  Squid, cuttlefish, octopi, and nautali!  Most excellent, but going the Saturday between spring break and Easter was, um, crowded.  I'll have to go back!

Half Moon Bay and Water Dog Lake park

Saturday was a trip to Half Moon Bay and a day on the beach of picnic, listening to the sound of the waves, and building a Lego spaceship.  Gorgeous day for the beach.  This was followed by a trip to an Italian restaurant for tea and dessert. Today was a mountain bike ride to Water Dog Lake park where I sat by the lake and enjoyed the afternoon, then biked back for a crepe and tea.  Then my taxes - but hey, I'm getting a refund!
