I want a tax refund.

Honestly, it's almost 100 and it's late September.  It shouldn't be that hot ever, and certainly not this late in the year.  I think we should get a tax refund when it's this hot.  I went for a ride this morning, but was back before noon.  It was already cooking at over 80.  Why does it have to heat up for the weekend???

Oh, and it's still scary dry.  We haven't had any real rain for a long time so it's super-brittle out there.

Super humid. Bleh. At least it's cooler and cloudy so I don't bake. Disturbing how dry everything is; we really need a good rain storm.

Hot dog

Water dog lake that is.  I went for a ride before noon and it was already baking.  Did get to see a family of quail running around, that's a first, but basically rode up the hill, down the hill, and then hid in my air-conditioned house with a book.
